Downmark is a character found in Ooblets (game). They reside in Mamoonia, specifically in the local Oobnet Tower.

Location

Downmark can always be found walking around outside the Mamoonia Oobnet Tower.

Appearance

Prior to version 1.0 of Ooblets (game), Downmark was a male-presenting character. They had blonde hair covered by a red beanie, and a blonde moustache and beard. They wore thick, round, black glasses, a brown, long-sleeved zip-up hoodie, black jeans, and shiny grey sneakers. They also had a fanny pack and a Mossprouts Backpack.

After the 1.0 release, Downmark's gender appears to be more ambiguous. They still have blonde hair, though their moustache and beard are notably absent. They wear a wide-brimmed light-colored hat with a pink sash, a white shirt with a pink sweater draped around their shoulders, white pants, and hiking boots.

Downmark has one ooblet: an uncommon Fripp.

Interactions

Upon arriving in Mamoonia, the Player will ask Downmark if the building they're standing in front of is the Mamoonia Oobnet Tower.^[1] Downmark will respond that it is, but that the door is locked,^[2] meaning that the Player is unable to enter. However, rather than not knowing the code, Downmark reveals that the problem is instead that the keycaps have been stolen and sold to the Mamoonia townsfolk as ooblet accessories.^[3] As someone who doesn't like confrontation, they convince the Player to retrieve the stolen keycaps to gain access to the Tower.^[4] After retrieving all six keycaps, they will grant the Player access to the Tower.
