Oobmobile — ooblets

Oobmobiles are Ooblet Accessories that allow Ooblets to drive around. They can only be equipped to level 10 Ooblets that have been granted a license from the Licensing Office in the Town Hall in Badgetown.

Announcement and Release

Oobmobiles were officially announced in an email newsletter sent on September 18, 2023. They were first released with v1.4, which came out for PC on October 29, 2023.

How to Get Licenses

In order for an Ooblet to be eligible to receive an Oobmobile license, make sure these criteria are met before you begin:

You need to have unlocked the Dept. of Ooblet Vehicles (DOV), which is related to the "Mystery Door in Town Hall" Tinstle Task available after reaching player level 5. It will become available a day after that is completed, and you'll receive mail about it.
The Ooblet must be level 10
The Ooblet must be among your Followbabies
You have at least 800 gummies that you are ready to spend

Once those prerequisites are met, follow these instructions:

Visit the Town Hall in Badgetown.
Enter the Licensing Office (the door in the back right of the main room).
Walk up to the middle window and take a ticket.
A cutscene will begin in which Officer Zuffle will guide you through the process of granting one of your Ooblets a license.
After you select your Ooblet and hand over the gummies, your Ooblet will get their photo taken and a license will be created for them.

How to Get Oobmobiles

Whenever an Ooblet receives their license, they will immediately be given one random Oobmobile for free, which will be automatically equipped to them.

You can also interact with the kiosk inside the Licensing Office to purchase Oobmobiles for gummies. Once per day, the kiosk will allow you to purchase an Oobmobile that was randomly selected to be available that day. You will be able to preview which Oobmobile it is and how much it costs before deciding whether to purchase it or not. After that, you will have to wait until the next day to use the kiosk again. During special events (such as the Halloween Event), there will be a second kiosk available that will dispense themed Oobmobiles that are only available during the event.

You may purchase Oobmobiles from the kiosk even if you don't have any licensed Ooblets yet, but you won't be able to equip them until an Ooblet receives their license. This means you can stock up on different Oobmobiles ahead of time.

Standard Oobmobiles

The standard Oobmobiles are available at all times of the year. Once per day, a random Oobmobile from this list may be purchased from the kiosk in the Licensing Office for 300 gummies. Whenever an Ooblet is granted a license, they receive a random Oobmobile for free from among this list.

Special Event Oobmobiles

Some Oobmobiles are only available during certain events throughout the year. They can be purchased for 300 gummies each from the secondary Oobmobile kiosk in the Licensing Office. Only one is available from the kiosk each day, similar to the standard kiosk.
