Videon is a character found in Ooblets (game). He is the leader of the Badgetown chapter of the Mimpins ooblet club.

Location

Before the opening of the Mimpins Clubhouse, Videon can be found wandering around Badgetown, specifically in front of the quib tree to the right of Snups, as well as in the Lernery.

After the Mimpins Clubhouse opens, he can always be found sitting on a couch inside.

Appearance

Videon's most prominent accessory is the large space helmet that he wears wherever he goes. His hair is coiled & black, and he has a dark complexion. He wears a graphic tee bearing the image of a Shrumbo. He wears lace-up black & white pumps on his feet.

Personality

Videon is an eccentric and intelligent young man, yet one who struggles to communicate his thoughts & feelings. He struggles with comprehending tone & humor, often speaking very bluntly and to the point, To ease his social issues & cope with the alienation he feels with everyone around him, he takes on the persona of an extra-terrestrial traveler who has arrived in Badgetown to study oobin life.

Story

Upon the Player's arrival in Badgetown without any ooblets, Mayor Tinstle will offer to introduce them to the town's ooblet club leaders, including Videon, who will gift the Player with a Sidekey if they choose to join his club, Mimpins.

The next time the Player encounters Videon, he will ask for their "variant designation",^[1] otherwise known as their name.^[2] On subsequent interactions, he will continue to claim to be studying the Player's habits as an oobin,^[3] as he is a froddlyglom from Froddlekron 8,^[4] rather than an oobin from Oob like everyone else. However, there is evidence from other characters to contradict this. For example, Sprin will say that this is something Videon will eventually outgrow,^[5] and one of Rugnolia's research notes suggests that Videon is her brother as she hypothesizes that he uses his froddlyglom persona as a coping mechanism.^[6]

As part of the "Reconstitoot all the Mystery Cans" Tinstle Task, Videon will teach the Player about Sea Dangling.
